Completion of a post-secondary program is important to me because I feel I have the effort and ability to finish what I originally started a few years ago.
My first choice in careers was to graduate in the airline industry. I always wanted to become an airline stewardess. I graduated from International Airline Academy but never had a chance to get a job in the airline industry due to lack of employment back then.

My second choice in life was to become a nurse. I started in the health field more than a few years ago and never finished what I started. I had a lot of intereferences blocking me from finishing school. I recently went back to school to finish what I started. I am really upset with myself because I could have finished my degree a long time ago. I am a really good student, and I take my education very seriously. I was two points away from making the deans list. I was very happy to know that I had made the honor roll. My grades in the last year have been very good. I just can’t wait to get the degree that I need to become a nurse.
I have spent the past two years living in and out of the hospital. I gained a lot of knowledge and experience while being a patient. I know how important it is to have a comfortable relationship with a patient. If a patient knows that you are there to help them through their illness then a patient is willing to take the time to stay in the hospital to get better. I want to be a nurse to help the sick. I know what it takes to make a patient comfortable because of the past two years of living in and out of the hospital. Once I become a nurse I will make it a priority to be there for the patients.
